Young Bruce was a bit too cocky and inept at proper Batmanning, and it’s both hilarious and awkwardly endearing: Batman’s superpowers are unlimited money and cool gadgets and chin you can crack walnuts with. But now I’m basically a pro, right? Although apparently this “Earth One” thing means it’s some sort of alternative universe to whatever universe these superheroes inhabit - but screw it, it’s the only one Batman story I’ve read (and I haven’t seen the movies - yet) so that’s just how it is and that’s that.
